Saras Rice Powder (Roasted) 500 Gm

Saras Idiyappam Method of preparation : Boil water with salt. To Saras rice powder pour the required boiling water and mix thoroughly with continues stirring. Knead well until the dough becomes soft. Extrude the prepared dough through sevanazhi in to an idiyappam streamer and cook till done. Saras Pathiri Method of preparation : Boil 1 cup (200ml) of water with 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil and a pitch of salt, in to the boiling water, sprinkle 1 cup (200g) of Saras rice powder. Switch off the flame and cover with the lid. After 1 minute put the warm mixture in a flat vessel and knead throughly until soft, Make small boilsout of the soft dough and press in Pathiri press, Grill pathiri with out oil.
